FOLK MUSIC NOTEBOOK will host three private showcases 

at the 2025 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference in Albany, NY.  

We will host one each evening, Thursday November 6th, Friday November 7th, and Saturday November 8th - 10:30pm to 1:45am.  

Performers will be given 15-minute slots. 

A total of 30 spots are available.  

• These showcases will also be recorded for future audio broadcast on www.FolkMusicNotebook.com and we plan have the showcases video streamed to those attending the conference virtually.  You must be willing to give approval for broadcast.  We will also archive the performances on the Folk Music Notebook YouTube page at a later date - and if you are not happy with your performance we will gladly edit out the set or a song.

• To be chosen, you MUST BE A REGISTERED IN-PERSON Conference attendee.

• NO AMPIFICATION!  Acoustic only, we plan to use a single Ear Trumpet Labs "Myrtle" microphone.

• These showcases will be curated.  We will be choosing artists that represent the music we play 24/7 on Folk Music Notebook - and that includes NEW artists that we have not yet played but fit the styles we present on the channel.  

• We are trying to present some "new" artists that we have not showcased in the past, although we will invite some artists back.

Again, this is just an application - it is not a guarantee of a spot. We will announce our schedule on or around October 1st. While we cannot guarantee a time or day, we will try to accommodate requests for those who are chosen.   Include links where we can download your music
